Hanging on pobble 365

today we have been learning how to do pobble 365 first I had to take a screenshot of the picture for the day.
\Next we had to answer the questions and we had to write sentences not little sentences.
Lastly we had to put the link on our hand in sheet if we finished so Mrs Wallace can check if were wrong or right with the questions.
What I enjoyed was answering the questions what I might do differently next time is make the box smaller.

Hanging On - Question time!

WALT discuss and think more deeply in order to answer questions about a text.

(Insert image from text ↓)

  1. What do you think has happened to their nest? The storms wind was so powerful that it blew the nest away.
  2. What is the mother possum thinking? I think the mother is thinking that it takes a lot of effort to carry all seven children.
  3. Which of the baby possums has the best seat and why? I think the baby possum in the middle has the best seat because it is getting squeezed and it is holding on to the mother really tight.
  4. Possums have incredible senses. Which of our senses do you think we use the most? Give example. I think the sense we use the most is sight because if there’s a nail on the footpath you will not see it and you might step on it.

Maui finds his family

Last we were learning to retell a Maori myth.
First we had to choose a Maori myth that we liked.
Next we had to read the book and get more information.
Finally I made some backgrounds for the scenes and the people to suit the story correctly.
I enjoyed doing this because it was fun. What I might do differently next time is make some scenes a little bit more interesting.

Then Finally we went back to kaikohe to have fish and chips for dinner and went home to my Comfortable bed and laid down on my smooth comfortable pillow but I was playing roblox and the roblox game that I was playing was boxing simulator 2 it is a game that you're Supposed to get really big tall and really really strong 10 hours later I was at 30million strength that time i was the most strongest person on the server then other people started playing on the server then I decided I didn’t want to be big so I pressed this button that said you can become small but you keep all your strength so I pushed it and I was the smallest person but the strongest then I was getting Exhausted and tired and went dreaming of in my head.

maui and the giant fish

Today we did a practice activity for the Summer Learning Journey.
First we read the story Maui and the Giant Fish.
Then we wrote 3 facts we learned from the story.
Here are my facts:
    Maui and the giant fish

Fact 1: Maui dreamed of a day that he could go fishing with his older brothers.

Fact 2: Maui took the jaw bone his ancestor Muri Ranga Whenua had given him and bound it securely to the line to use it as a fishing hook.

Fact 3: Maui hid on the waka in the hull to go fishing with his brothers. The thing I found challenging is thinking of the ideas to make it sound more interesting. Next time I will try to make it even more interesting by making better words.
