magic carpet ride

WALT increasing vocabulary today room 1 had been doing pobble 365 for a couple of months.First we searched up the website and find the pobble 365 writing were doing.Next we copied the writing and pasted the writing into a document.Finally once we were finished we had to send the link to room 1's hand-in-sheet and post it on our blog. What I enjoyed was writing more writing to give more details. What I might do differently next time is add more interesting words to add better detail

The boy leant to his left and swooped around another corner. He never felt more alive than when he was on his magic carpet.
Finding a straight stretch of road he urged the carpet to top speed, sending plumes of dust from the ground all around him. He quickly approached a woman dressed in black carrying a bowl of fruit




The Genie stole a delicious scrumptious apple from the bowl of fruit and bolted into the air going faster than a flash. He gazed at the amazing view of the kingdom then he laughed Hysterically because he didn’t get caught. The woman was so furious.

“ I WILL FIND YOU!” she shouted with all her might.

Looking around, the genie replied

“What was that? Who cares”.

The next sunrise he woke up and he peeked through the window. The woman was right outside his doorstep.

“I must be Hallucinating” he thought to himself, as he punched himself to see if he was dreaming.

Sneakily he tiptoed to his magic carpet and zoomed out of the door bolting as fast as the magic carpet can go. Surprisingly the carpet ran out of energy and fell straight to the ground. The Genie was caught by the woman and was forced to return the apple. He was punished and was forced to go to prison for years and years and years.

PE

Today room 1 were doing PE . first we went at the back field to play some fun activity's for 30 minutes. Next we played some running games to keep us exercised  and fit. Finally it was time to go we ran back to wash our feet and have a drink.what I enjoyed doing was the fun activity's.what I might do differently next time is add more details about PE here are some photos of us playing some activity's.

Harold/life education

last week room 1 had been learning about life education. First we had to line up from shortest to tallest. Next we walked carefully into the caravan and sit in a row of 3. Finally we learned about assertive aggressive and passive and we learned that everyone is different people have different personality's and there's no one like you. what I enjoyed was learning new stuff and it's OK to always stress out what I might do differently next time is add more photo's.

During class time after play bell room 1 do tuhi mai tuhi atu.


First, we go on our main blog site and then go to our focus class/school. I then choose a blog post to read or look at.


Next, what we do on tuhi mai tuhi atu is we post a positive thoughtful helpful comment. The reason why we do this is because we like to encourage other people and we’re a digital class.


Then when we finished the post we share it to our class hand-in-sheet.


I enjoy doing tuhi mai tuhi atu because I like to communicate with other people.

matariki quiz

Today my reading group had to work on this Matariki  website .

First we went on our reading planing to find the  matariki website. 

Next we went on the matariki website and choose the site that we wanted to  do and share it to our blog. 

finally once we finish posting we got to do free choosing time. what i enjoyed was doing this quiz about matariki. 

What I might do differently next time is add photos to show if I did well or not.

S.T.E.M

Today room one had been doing S.T.E.M for a couple of weeks this week was better than last time.First we let Edison scan some bar codes and also program him with ed blocks.Next we extended Edison with extension blocks and made them sumo wrestle.Finally it was time to pack up for lunch and assembly. What I found enjoying was programming Edison. What I might do differently next time is evidence more photos.

S.T.E.M

today room 1 had been doing S.T.E.M we had been doing it for a couple of weeks but first we had to upload a photo or video then post to our hand-in-sheet then post to our blog. First I inserted  a photo of my stem activity . Next I saved the image that I took.Then finally I had to post it to my blog. what I enjoyed was building the parts together to make a completed  work what I might do differently next time is  making the photo by myself here is the photo that I uploaded.
